Eagle Lake Recovery’s 90-day treatment timeline shows exactly what to expect during medical detox, residential treatment, trauma-informed therapy, family involvement, and aftercare planning. Each phase is designed to support recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, giving clients and families a clear path from intake through long-term stability.

What to know:
Early progress can feel fast and encouraging, but challenges are normal. Growth brings uncertainty. Real recovery begins by staying grounded, patient, and open to learning.
If needed, your loved one begins medically supervised detox, typically lasting 5–7 days. You’ll receive a HIPAA-compliant update from the care team within 48 hours.
Action:
Join the biweekly family therapy session to begin building trust and support.
What to expect:
Your loved one begins trauma-focused therapies, such as EMDR, experiential therapy, and CBT, alongside holistic care including nutrition, fitness, and spiritual counseling. Weekly family education workshops continue, focusing on communication and coping skills.
Action:
Attend workshops and stay actively engaged in the process.
Once we’ve achieved a high level of expertise, we run the risk of forgetting what it was like to learn something from scratch, falling for an ugly state or entitlement, or getting bored.
And what’s left then? Naturally we have to push our skills to the next limit in order to discover new spaces for growth, either in our fields of expertise or synthesizing knowledge from other fields to create new unexplored spaces.
What to expect:
Your loved one deepens clinical therapy and holistic work, including yoga and life skills training. Family therapy continues biweekly, with weekly progress updates from the care team.
Action:
Share questions, concerns, or goals with the family coordinator.
What to expect:
Your loved one focuses on strengthening independence and completing a transition plan for life after treatment. The final family therapy session prepares everyone to move forward with clarity and support.
Action:
Review the transition plan with the care team and attend graduation.
What to expect:
Graduation marks the transition forward. You’ll celebrate your loved one’s progress, receive a summary of their growth, and review aftercare recommendations designed to support what comes next.
Action:
Attend the ceremony and connect with the aftercare coordinator to continue support beyond Eagle Lake.
