About Aaron B. Michael

Aaron is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC#4468) with over a decade of experience supporting individuals throughaddiction and mental health recovery. She holds a Bachelor’s degree inPsychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Master’s in General Counselingand Guidance. Aaron has worked with a wide range of populations—fromadolescents to older adults, refining her skills in treating complex emotionaland psychological needs.

Her personal journey in recovery sparked a deep commitment to helping othersheal from addiction and unresolved trauma. Aaron completed a year-long traumacertification training under renowned expert Judy Crane, traveling across theU.S. to learn the most effective, evidence-based practices in trauma andaddiction treatment. This experience solidified her belief in holistic,experiential care that addresses root-level pain, not just symptoms.

Aaron specializes in integrative methods including somatic experiencing,inner child work, mindfulness, and expressive arts, creating a safe space forclients to process buried trauma and rebuild a sense of identity and worth. Herapproach is deeply relational and rooted in spiritual connection, helpingclients reclaim their lives with clarity, strength, and purpose.

Alongside her husband, Aaron long envisioned a center that truly treats the whole person. That dream came to life when she was invited to design Eagle LakeRecovery Center’s program from the ground up. Set on 163 acres of peacefulLouisiana land, Eagle Lake reflects her vision of a sanctuary where men are seen, valued, and restored—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
